How do I find a business to buy on Baton?

As of November, 2023, you can sign up as a Baton Buyer to use Explore, a first-of-its-kind small business acquisition search. The search works the same as any of the most sophisticated search engines you've used: tell us in plain language what kind of business you're looking to buy. We provide match scores and filters for search results. We also remember your searches and email you when a business matching your criteria pops up.

​When you see a business you're interested in, there are two ways to take next steps:

1: For active For Sale businesses, you can hop into the Data Room where you'll see first-party financial data and other clues to help you figure out if the deal's worth pursuing. No waiting on documents or phone calls. Still interested? From the Data Room, you can book a call with one of our Acquisition Advisors to get the ball rolling.
